We’re excited to announce our Intro to Outdoor Skills Weekends! We will have special outdoor skills programming on the following weekends:

6 pm – Responsible Campfire – Learn the different ways to responsibly build and start a campfire in the great outdoors!
8:30 am – Family Yoga
9:00 am – Leave No Trace Activity – TBA
10:00 am – Belay Basics – Learn how to belay from setting up your rope and device correctly to proper belay form. You can take a new skill back to your local climbing gym!
1:00 pm – How to Pack your Pack and Guided Hike – From a simple day hike to a four-day backpacking excursion, let us help teach you how to properly pack your backpacks! Then, join us with your day pack for a guided waterfall hike!
2:00 pm – Orienteering
3:30 pm – Bolder Bouldering – Come join us for a quick bouldering session at Spruce Saddle Adventure Zone. There’s no right or wrong way, just come with a good attitude and be ready to send it! Check out other Spruce Saddle features during this time as well.
6:00 pm – Keynote speaker, TBA
7:30 pm – Responsible Campfire – Learn the different ways to responsible build and start a campfire in the great outdoors!
8:00 pm – Movie/Documentary – will change weekly, see Activity Guide for movie selection
9:30 am – Mountain Biking 101 – Bring the whole family to this introduction to mountain biking! You’ll learn the basics and get to test them out on our pump track. Bring your own, or rent one of our bikes!
