The Nordic Center
Be sure to download our trails app! Just scan this QR code, or search for Snow Mountain Ranch trails in the app store.
Snow Mountain Ranch’s Nordic Center has more than 120 kilometers of world-class terrain for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking in the Colorado Rockies for everyone from first-time recreational participants to elite racers.
Beginners can ski on short easy loops around the Nordic Center while the experienced racer can train on longer expert trails with steeper climbs. Beyond cross country skiing, individuals, families and groups can enjoy snowshoeing and fat biking from the Nordic Center.
*Please respect our trail and others by using the designated trails for your sport to ensure the safety of others and prevent damage to groomed trails. A footprint or snow shoe and bike track will melt through the snow and spread, creating significantly uneven surfaces.

Your membership fees support the quality of grooming and skiing at Snow Mountain Ranch.
The Nordic Center’s full-service ski shop is where you will find great deals on lessons and rental packages. We also have the latest cross-country ski gear and apparel for sale. To re-energize, visit the Skinny Ski Cafe and enjoy a light snack or warm up with a bowl of soup and a sandwich.
More than 25,000 skiers per year visit our property covering 5,100 acres of mountain meadows at an altitude of 9,000 feet. Your canine companion can even join you on some of the trails, making sure that both you and your pup are getting a good workout – but remember, leashes are required!
Snow Mountain Ranch also offers ice skating, tubing, dog sledding and sleigh rides. For information and booking of these activities please contact the Snow Mountain Ranch Programs Main Office (extension -4135).
