Estimated Availability Calendar
This calendar reflects historic availability of cabins on the day summer/fall cabin reservations become open to non-members. Please use it to plan your reservation requests.
Minimum stays of up to 4 nights may apply. Please adjust your reservation request accordingly when making online reservations.
If you cancel a reservation 30 days or more prior to your arrival, you forfeit 25% of the original 35% deposit. Once you have checked in, should you decide to leave early you are financially responsible for each night you had reserved.
Frequently Asked Questions for April 7, 2021
Why was I unable to make my reservation online?
Because our members and donors receive first priority for making their cabin reservations, many dates are already booked by the time reservations are opened to non-members. Please see the availability calendar on this page for historic availability as of non-member opening day. If your dates are flexible you can keep trying online, and sometimes our phone reservationists can help. Please understand that during the busy summer season, we book up very quickly, especially from mid-June through mid-August and on holiday weekends.
Are there dates that are more likely to have availability?
We can never guarantee availability, but if you are interested in reserving a cabin between October 15 and November 31, 2021, you may be safe hanging up and trying tomorrow when phone lines are less busy. Please see the availability calendar on this page for historic availability as of non-member opening day.
Why is the phone queue so long?
This is our busiest day of the year and we are fielding hundreds of phone calls. We have extra staff on the phones who are working diligently to answer every call as quickly as possible, and to help each guest successfully make a reservation to stay with us.
What happens if I hang up now and try again later?
If you hang up now, you will lose your place in the queue and your chances of getting your chosen dates are more limited. Our reservation agents are working diligently to answer every call as quickly as possible. However, if you are not trying to make a cabin reservation today for dates between June 1 2021 and November 30, 2021, you can hang up and try us again tomorrow or later in the week.
I have a question, but do not need to make a reservation for the summer/fall. Should I stay on hold?
If you are NOT trying to make a cabin reservation today for dates between June 1, 2021 and November 30, 2021, you can hang up and try us again tomorrow or later in the week. You can also send an email to email@example.com and someone will get back to you in the next few days.
